Since When Is It Liberal to Believe that Jesus was Married to Mary Magdalene

Look, I’ve got copies of the Nag Hammadi books that were banned from the collection of writings that were eventually edited into The Bible and most of those writings are of a completely different Jesus than the one that is sold in most churches across the land. That’s why I think that The Last Temptation of Christ by Nikos Kazantakis is one of the most important spiritual works of written art ever produced. Even translated from its original greek, this book is an absolute love poem for the concept of the Christ, who gives up a mortal pleasure and existence to take the sins of the world upon his shoulders like Avalokiteshera and Quan-Yin the Buddah of inexhaustible compassion.

Anyway, I love The DaVinci Code and all these religious freaks who believe their religious metaphors to be historical facts are really just angry because the story is more interesting than the same old they’ve been hearing about Jesus for decades now. Look, if a fiction book is enough to make you question your faith then you probably don’t have it anyway.
