I am reticent to talk about my present company because of all the crap going on with “Work Bloggers” getting in trouble, etc. (I’m talking here specifically about that Delta airlines flight attendent who put lingerie shots of her wearing half of her uniform on her blog and got fired for it).

But I’m not hesitant to talk about the health care industry–which is fucked up as usual, just how Congress wants it. Of course they want it that way or why else would they continue to pass Draconian measures of economic sanctions and threats into legislation.

Listen, in five years there will be two health insurance companies in this country, my present company and their major competition. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing for Americans. The good thing will be that the competition between the two will yield more inclusive product packages across the board, meeting the majority of American’s healthcare needs (at least the ones that can afford it still). But that also means that all the little guys have gone under.

Check out Ed Roman’s rant about what happens when the little guys go under–he may be talking specifically about quality guitars but what he’s saying is universal.
