…because on March 16, a cinematic bombshell is going to be dropped in the form of a 7-part mini-series based on David McCullough’s Best Seller John Adams . I’ve seen the Behind the Scenes and I am salivating. Paul Giamatti being cast as the cantankerous ex-President was a pure stroke of genius. The research and realism that was put into the production is staggering! I believe that it will even outshine Band of Brothers in terms of realism and match it minute for minute in drama.

They shot in Colonial Williamsburg which hasn’t been done since the 1950s. Williamsburg is one of my favorite places on this earth that I’ve visited. I consider not only a high cultural center of our society but it’s been a source of inspiration and faith for me as I walk those streets and meditate about the freedom that was born from the earth there like some gestating collective fetus of the human spirit.

I got goosebumps from the small taste in the documentary that I’m already seeing myself buying this on DVD and enjoying it for years to come.
