If you need proof that President Bush (and most U.S. Presidents) is out of touch with the common man, look no forward to the President’s travel schedule. Today, he came to Columbus to spend a few hours with the Limited Billionaire Leslie Wexner at his home which happens to be in the same area as my own.

So, does the President fly in at 1:00 PM when most people are at work and back from lunch? No, he flies in at 5:00 PM and his secret service detail demands the major roadways get shut down so he can make his meeting on time.

So, while he rides in limousine comfort–the common man is stuck in traffic while his wife and children wait for him with cold dinner on the table.

Let’s just make it clear, Mr. President–you work for me. You should be waiting in traffic while I get home on time after slugging my 8 hours to pay my taxes to fund your corporate shenanigans. In fact, next time you and your entourage with all their ear pieces and sniper rifles should get all your asses out and direct traffic so we all get home on time.

That would be truly be servicing your constituents and not being a burden to your fellow man.
