Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack TH Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama’s parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, “He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.” Obama’s political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama’s introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son’s education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Osama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential candidacy.
I immediately went to Snopes and typed in “Obama” and found the article destroying the above e-mail.
Frederick Douglass, one of America’s bravest human beings ever to speak on the subject of individual liberty, once said of Abraham Lincoln, “[He was] the first great man that I talked with in the United States freely who in no single instance reminded me of the difference between himself and myself, of the difference of color.”
Despite the mythology of America being the land of the melting pot, this country has been deeply concerned with race and color and religious affiliation from the very beginning. The Eastern shores of this great land were colonized by multiple religious sects all escaping tyranny of persecution from their native governments. Despite the hallowed idealism of universal freedom for the individual expressed in The Declaration of Independence, the practice of government in America has long been one of exclusion and privilege.
I learned early on as a youth the cultural differences between poor white people and poor black people in America were minor, that they had far more in common because of their poverty level than they had differences because of their skin tone, the type of music they listened to or what they ate. It’s dollar dolla bills, y’all. Money creates privilege, privilege breeds exclusion and tyranny breeds in the cracks between civic duty and complacency.
I will not say it’s time for a black President in America because that is as ridiculous as saying that it’s not time for a black President. It’s time for good human beings to step up, step in and start kicking this flea bitten whore of a government into shape and I don’t give one pebbly shit whether these good people are black, white women or children. With the onset of instant global communication, every human being on this planet now has the capability of affecting the process of government in this world and it’s about damn time they started using it.
Beware of anyone who votes on the basis of race and religion because they are likely to be as ignorant and as damaging to our world as the person who measures matters of life and death on these same scales.

I don’t think being black is an issue, except in the eyes of racist fringe elements who would never vote for a Democrat anyway. A Muslim background, if that can be made to stick, is an entirely different matter.
Obama is Hillary Clinton’s leading rival at the current stage of things, and it figures that something would conveniently surface to take him down. This posting is worth reading, though I don’t consider it the final word on the matter:
