So Josh, are you surprised that CBS is finally taking Ron Paul seriously?”
No, I say. The long tail is a bitch and I’ve been saying there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats. They are both controlled by corporate influence and financial support. They are the two legs of the Corporatocracy we currently live in, one which is currently floundering in the ridiculousness of religious fanatacism and the other which is drowning in detached idealism without proper philosophical foundations and without the sand to execute any kind of game plan.
The day of the corporatocracy is just about over.
And every single candidate is beginning to feel the heat of the long tail. Every single candidate besides Ron Paul has practically said they would consider a nuclear first strike against Iran. Stop a minute and consider how frightening that sentence is.
The majority of US Presidential candidates for the 2008 election are willing to fire a nuclear weapon on a country which has made no confirmed attack on US soil.
Ron Paul is the only one saying how crazy it is for a country separated by deep oceans on two sides and peaceful trading neighbors to the north and south to be talking about a pre-emptive nuclear strike against an officially unaggressive country.
A paradigm shift away from war and the norm for global human interaction will be like a man eating a hamburger which suddenly tastes rancid and rotten to him. He will throw that burger down with conviction and spit everything out in his mouth, looking for a big cup of water to wash the taste out of his mouth.
That is like what my vote for Ron Paul will be next November.
